My name is Lauren Rosenthal. I am a graduate of San Francisco State University (2009), with a BA in Technical and Professional Writing. I have worked with non-profits as a document writer and grant writer since 2008, and I currently freelance all sorts of documents and copy for a wide range of clients. I am always looking for freelance work as a social media guru, grant writer, researcher, copy editor or general document writer. I write for various businesses and organizations, ranging from a Latin swimwear company to an organic urban farm to youth development programs and music festivals - I can pretty much do anything. My passion is to write, plain and simple!
I also have tons of experience in the music industry. I like to attend shows and write reviews, and I have been a volunteer and writer for Noise Pop, Inc, since 2007. Each year I work on two of the company's brochures; one for Treasure Island Music Festival and one for Noise Pop. I try to leverage my industry contacts to help others book shows are make connections. You can see some of my music writing here. I have also tour managed US acts, and would love to take your band out on the road!
I am a Professional Writer currently located in Portland, OR. I have a BA from San Francisco State University (2009) in Technical and Professional Writing. I work remotely as a freelance writer, as well as a volunteer for Noise Pop, Inc as a music writer.
